In partnership with California's Department of Rehabilitation, C嫂愛 provides employment services for people with developmental disabilities. With a focus on personalized services, our ultimate goal is to help our clients obtain and retain employment in the community in the area of their skills, experiences, and interests while providing skilled staff for local employers. When you directly hire one of our clients, he or she will receive coaching from a C嫂愛 job coach. To support a new employee's initial training and adjustment to the work environment, up to 100% job coaching will be provided. Once the job stabilizes, the coaching hours typically are reduced to about 20% of the employee's work hours. If you would like to establish a group partnership with C嫂愛, we will provide a team of well-trained employees and will fund 100% of their supervision by one of our C嫂愛 supervisors. You can also be an employer who enables job-readiness through skill assessments. One of our clients who is preparing for employment will do a temporary work practice on location at your business while a C嫂愛 trainer assesses his/her skills and work behaviors.
